Palestine has recorded 650 new COVID-19 cases and six deaths over the past 24 hours, announced the Palestinian Health Minister, Mai al-Kaila, on Saturday.
The deaths reported involved an 88-year-old woman in Hebron, a 79-year-old woman in Halhul, a 75-year-old man in Jenin, a 79-year-old man in Ramallah, and a 51-year-old man and 73-year-old woman in Gaza Strip.
The recovery rate stands at 69.8%, while the active cases rate is 29.6%, and the death rate is 0.6%.
The new coronavirus cases included: 85 in Hebron, 119 in Nablus, 59 in Bethlehem, 53 Qalqilya, 72 in Ramallah and al-Bireh, 21 in Jenin, 19 in Jericho and al-Aghwar, nine in Tubas, 13 in Salfit, 54 in Tulkarm, 88 in Gaza Strip and 58 in the suburbs of Jerusalem.
A total of 191 recovery cases were recorded in Palestine, including: 145 in Bethlehem, four in Salfit and 42 in Gaza Strip.
Currently, 36 cases are in the Intensive Care Unit and 11 are on ventilators.
